About This Challenge
The fastest time to drink 500ml water is 2.35 seconds, achieved by Lorcan Carroll (Ireland), in Glenageary, Ireland, on 16 April 2012.Challenge Rules
- You should use a clear glass of at least 500ml in capacity, filled with 500ml water. A clearly marked measuring cup/beaker needs to be placed on a flat surface to confirm the volume of water prior to the attempt.
- You may optionally add a small amount of juice/squash to flavour the water.
- No spillages are allowed!
- The time starts when you put the glass to your lips, and finishes when you set down the empty glass.
- As with all consumption record challenges, we strongly recommend you do not attempt this multiple times in one day

colton's attempt will not be accepted, #1 he didn't put it in a cup/beaker as rules state, #2 it's not clear he drank the water, he could have just poured it down the side of his face and sucked the air out of the bottle.

The rules say you have to use glass, so I don't think you're going to get the record.

The person who claims that he drank the water 1.5 seconds is not making it clear if the bottle is completely empty. It would've been a better idea if the water is placed into a cup, and be made clear it is about 500ml.

My brother's world record 2 seconds
looks like a little spilled out.
I can't get that type of measurement here, can i used coca cola bottle? or 50cl bottle?
Using a recognisable 50cl bottle should be acceptable, yes.
