I was disappointed that the quality of the video of the record that was set while cruising was deemed to be too unclear. (Rather than going through the trouble of editing the recording and zooming in ... I just uploaded another one.)

I was prepared to let one of the guys from The Netherlands enjoy a World Record for a week, ... but then, when I was vacationing on a cruise, I was informed that they didn't just go ONE over my past score, they skipped scores! (So, I went ahead and posted one, - with only one more goal.) Uploading from the satellite communications on board was taking a long time ... Luckily, I was able to get online and upload it before the Adjudication cutoff. I would have been upset if they jumped too far ahead.

    Thabotjerk -

You have TWO people working the controls to set this record? (You can tell by the two numbers appearing on the screen)

    That's not very admirable.

Also, haven't you watched my videos to see that you have to do MUCH better than this to take away the record?

FYI, I've decided not to let anyone else get a World Record Certificate in this game anymore. If someone tries, I will post a higher score from my library right away, before there's another adjudication (I have proven before that I can do this with either minutes left showing on the clock, or just pulling a record from my record library.) Enjoy your certificate, William Ray Jones. Let me know if there's another game you want to do. This one is mine, though.

Fpopke, just to let you know they didn't approve the previous records because of a number of different things. I was frustrated because they weren't approving my record so I didn't know if I could get the same score again or have to be higher. I'm sorry if you felt offence by this but it was by no means my intensions.

Livn4god9, OK, I gave you a few weeks to make sure you got your world record certificate, ... but you didn't just go up one goal at a time like we had discussed so that we could alternate World Record certificates together. So from now on I will immediately post a higher score if you or someone else posts a new attempt. I won't wait to do it AFTER an adjudication again. (My latest video should show that I am well prepared to do this up to many more goals.) Enjoy your record, though William Ray Jones! You are a fellow Super Mario Strikers World Record Holder!

Do you know why the Adjunction reset and they haven't verified the goals yet? It looks like we have to wait another week because they didn't verify it =/ I'm confused.

Congratulations! You deserve a World Record Certificate! Thanks for appreciating my video submissions and even using some of the terms I used to name the shots! :-) Expect some more 'challenges' in the future! Enjoy being the World Record Holder! (for a while) :-)

I accept your proposal! I'm very excited (even though this video I made to beat your record of 22 was a sloppy game) to hear you understand my goal. Once this is week is over I might try to beat your record again just for healthy competition. Also because I know you will beat this record with ease =].

OK, livn4god9. I like it that you are striving for excellence. This is one of my favorite games too and I remember how it felt when I received my first Guinness World Record certificate. If you can beat this last score I just posted, I won't best your mark (THIS WEEK) so that you can have a World Record certificate in this game too. "AS IRON SHARPENS IRON, SO ONE MAN SHARPENS ANOTHER". I like that you are setting goals and not living a mediocre lifestyle!

That's funny, - I just got an email from you guys dated today that says,

    Great news, fpopke
Your entry for Most Goals in a Single Match of Super Mario Strikers (Gamecube) has just been approved! As a result, you may have received new achievements and medals"

Do you still want me to upload another one?

    1. The_Adjudicator's pictureThe_AdjudicatorTeam

      Comment-callout

Emails are automatically sent out for "approval for adjudication." Once adjudicated, we decide if we can "approve" as a record. Thus, what we meant is that "we are not able to approve this as a record."

Please upload video where everything is shown clearly where there is no question from any other random viewer watching the video that you have followed the rules. Videos posted on our site need to follow rules where, for any user to look at the video, they can't question the legitimacy of the video attempt. For that reason, we do have to look at each detail, even if it is where lighting is bad. We have asked 4 people to look at this video on different computers and all have agreed that your video when showing the console is very dark and we can't tell what type of console it is at all, if it is a console.

  3. The_Adjudicator's pictureThe_AdjudicatorTeam

    Comment-callout

Unfortunately, we are not able to approve this record. We thank you for show us clearer gameplay. However, when you showed the game and console, we are not able to tell what type of console you are using since it is black on black with the black tv screen. We have looked on multiple screens and different computers, and it is the video that is so dark when you show the console and game. Please turn on the lights or do what you can where we can actually see the console you are using. And do not hold up a black console against a black background. Everything disappears once that happens. These are videos done online and you must be able to show clearly everything you did for this record. Thank you.
