About This Challenge

The longest flight of a hand-launched paper aircraft is 27.9 sec by Takuo Toda (Japan) at the Fukuyama Big Rose in Hiroshima, Japan, on 11 April 2009.

Challenge Rules

Your paper aircraft flight must take place indoors, in a closed-air environment, such that wind does not affect the flight time. A warehouse, or mall is ideal
Your aircraft must be constructed from a single sheet of A4 or 8.5inx11in paper, with a maximum weight of 100gsm. Standard printer paper is fine.
You may cut the paper, but any pieces cut off may not be reattached.
You may use a single piece of clear sticky tape of maximum size 25mm by 30mm to hold down folds only. Other glues, paperclips, staples etc are not permitted.
You must throw your aircraft from a stationary position on a flat surface at the same level or below that which the aircraft lands on.
The timing starts when the plane is thrown, and ends when the plane touches the ground, or any other object/surface.

  it was disqualified becuz you were doing it from a staircase. You were supposed to do it from the same lvl ground that your plane was gonna land on.

My Dad and I have had a couple 10 second + flights but have had some problems getting the whole flight on film. We will continue to chase that record.

Not quite a world record yet, but this is definitely the best attempt we've seen so far here on Challengers! You definitely picked the right kind of venue to make your attempt in too. :)
