Challenge Rules

• Standard, commercially-available pencils of maximum diameter 6mm should be used for this attempt.
• At the start of the attempt, pencils should be lying down flat, and not touching one another in any way, on a hard, flat stacking surface.
• Only one pencil may be picked up and stood on end at a time. Only one hand may be used; the challengers other hand must be behind his or her back at all times during the attempt.
• Before the start of the one minute stacking period, the challengers stacking hand must be flat on the table and not touching any of the pencils.
• Pencils must remain standing for a minimum of 5 seconds after the one minute stacking period to be counted.
