Challenge Rules

• A cup pyramid consists of 6 cup base topped with layers of 5,4,3,2 and finally 1 cup - 21 cups are to be used in total
• Any type of commercially available plastic, paper or polystyrene cups can be used.
• No adhesive of any sort may be used, and cups may not be altered in any way.
• At the start of the attempt, cups sould be separated and face down on the stacking surface, and both of the challengers hands should be flat on the table and not touching any of the cups.
• The bottom 6 cups forming the base must be picked up and moved at least 5 cm (50mm) into their positions.
• Once the pyramid has been completed, all cups must remain standing in position for at least 5 seconds without falling for the attempt to be valid.
• If any cups fall off the pyramid during building, they can be picked up and replaced.
• If any cups fall off the stack during the 5 second “test” period, the attempt is disqualified.
