Challenge Rules

• Any commercially available sweets with main ingredients of glucose syrup, sugar, colourings and gelatin may be used.
• The outer and inner layers of the sweets must not have any type of covering.
• Sweets must have a maximum weight of 3 grams.
• The challenger must start with one hand flat on the table and the other to be behind their back.
• The cocktail sticks and sweets must start separated and flat on the table surface in front of the challenger
• Sweets may not be anchored between surfaces or be touching any surfaces such as walls.
• The challenger must pick up one cocktail stick at a time and insert into chosen sweet.
• Cocktail sticks must not emerge from the other end of the sweet. One end of the stick should remain inside.
• Should cocktail sticks break during the attempt then they must be left where they are and attempt continues. These will not count towards the final total.
• At the end of the attempt, the cocktail sticks must remain stuck in the sweet for 5 seconds. Any that fall over to the surface of the table or out of the sweet will invalidate the attempt.
