Due to technical reasons the image is not synchronized with the movement. I put in the video on the blackboard a clock in which you can observe the seconds counting while i put the dominoes in a standing position, to show that MY videos aren’t accelerated. GWR should add a new rule on the guidelines about it so nobody will be able any longer to fake video

Challenge Rules

  • Standard, commercially available dominoes must be used for this attempt. Equal to or larger than 39 x 19 x 7 mm (1.5 x 0.75 x 0.25 in).
  • Dominoes to be erected in an “attempt area” no larger than 30 x 42 cm (11.8 x 16.5 in).
  • Before the attempt, an unlimited number of dominoes can be prepared outside of the “attempt area” ensuring all dominoes are laid flat on their “face”.

  • Dominoes to be stacked one at a time in an upright manner on their smallest side.
  • Dominoes may be erected in any shape or formation within the “attempt area”.
  • If dominoes fall during the attempt, they can be re-stacked at any time before the clock stops.

  • Any dominoes that fall outside of the attempt area may be included in the final total.

Unfortunately a large number of the dominoes were not toppled over 45 degrees, we cannot accept these dominoes as having been successfully toppled. We encourage you to attempt this again at another time, making sure to arrange the dominoes in such a way that this guideline is met.

It doesn't look like 45 degrees to me and if the adjudicators will follow the GWR guideline "The final total is the number of dominos successfully toppled over 45 degrees" I don't think your record will be accepted.

The final total is the number of dominos successfully toppled over "45 degrees".

at 2.25, I don't know.... it doesn't look like 45 degrees to me but good job anyway.

      Comment-callout

It's very close either way, that's for sure. We'll see what the adjudicator has to say about this, if not I think you've got the stacking speed to break the record if you space them a little further apart in future.

    2. domino's picturedomino

      Comment-callout

We will see what the adjudicator mean and if not I will try to break the mark of 47 dominoes in future. But I mean the dominoes moved and so they should count as toppled because the chain reaction worked well.

    Comment-callout

I hope this technique is allowed.... But I think it is according to the guidelines.
