About This Challenge

The most uncooked rice grains moved by chopsticks in one minute is 51 and was achieved by Silvio Sabba (Italy) on 24 May 2015.

Challenge Rules

  • The rice should be long-grain or short-grain and uncooked, and may be either brown or white.
  • A quantity of rice should be placed in one bowl; a second empty bowl should be placed at a minimum horizontal distance of 50 cm (19.6 inches) from the edge of the first bowl.
  • Standard, commercially available wooden chopsticks must be used; if conjoined, they may be picked apart prior to the attempt.
  • Only one hand is to be used at any one time. The other hand is to remain behind the challengers back and under no circumstances may it touch the plate or any of the rice grains once the record attempt is in progress.
  • The contestant must have both hands placed on the table when the attempt begins. The chopsticks must also be placed on the table.
  • Only one rice grain may be picked up at a time.
  • The rice must be carried using the chopsticks – the grains may not be ‘flicked’ from bowl to bowl.
  • If during the attempt a rice grain is dropped on the table, the attempt may continue but the time does not stop./li>

I would expect you to get disqualified as you did not show you moved one grain at a time
