Used the notes app, held the iPad in my left hand and typed with my right, typed the alphabet correctly, the works. This time around, I figure my attempt is fast enough to beat the record no matter how the time is measured.

Met all requirements stated in the Rules. Time was obtained by analyzing the video afterwards and subtracting the beginning time from the finishing time, resulting in 3.16 seconds.

About This Challenge

The fastest time to type the alphabet on an iPad is 3.14 seconds, achieved by Chase Samuel (Canada) in Osler, Saskatchewan, Canada, on 22 February 2013.

Challenge Rules

The "notes" application must be used for this attempt
The iPad must be held in one hand (either horizontally or vertically, with the other hand used for typing.
The alphabet must be typed in either lower or upper case letters, with no errors, or spaces between the letters
Errors include typing the same letter twice, including a space or unrelated letter, omitting a letter, or typing letters out of sequence.
Any standard, internationally recognised keyboard layout may be used

That's a great attempt but as you can see on the rules:

The iPad must be held in one hand (either horizontally or vertically, with the other hand used for typing.

Your iPad wasn't being holded by the other hand.

Repeat it and get a even better time.
