Dear Dan, I tried a lot and eventually I got what I think should be 60 (the last attempt). Perhaps GWR will decide otherwise. Right at the end of the video, it cut out just as I nibbled on a randomly selected M&M Pretzel which I showed to the video close-up. I did that to prove I am using the prescribed type of M&M - but the video cut off right there. I still have that clip if you need me to email it. Thank you. Alastair.

About This Challenge

The most M&M's pretzel candies moved with a straw in 1 minute is 62, achieved by Alastair Galpin (New Zealand), in Auckland, New Zealand, on 24 September 2012.

Challenge Rules

A plastic drinking straw with a minimum length of 150mm must be used, to transfer commercially available pretzel M+M candies by suction into a target receptacle.
The target receptacle must have a hole no larger than 30mm in diameter in the top.
The M+M pretzels should be placed into a bowl/dish, the edge of which is no closer than 300mm to the edge of the target receptacle.
The attemptee must only use one hand during the attempt. They must begin the attempt with their hand flat on the table, not touching the straw.
M+M pretzels must be moved from the startin g bowl to the hole in the receptacle within the one minute period without being dropped in order to count.
