    Hi Dan, the attempt which I think might beat Dyson is at the 6 min 40 sec mark in the video. With only a standard stopwatch, it is difficult for me to time myself to 100th of a second, so I trust GWR will conclude the duration. Thank you. Alastair.

About This Challenge

The longest duration Malteser blowing is 9.02 seconds, achieved by Tom Irvin (UK), in London, UK, on 6 December 2012.

Challenge Rules

  • Maltesers to be used are the standard milk chocolate variety. Please show the packet at the start of your attempt.
  • The challenger should by lying down on their back on the floor for this attempt.
  • The Malteser is then placed on the lips, and blown into the air with the breath to keep it suspended in the air.
  • The time starts when the Malteser is visibly suspended in the air, and ends when it touches the challenger's face again or is dropped.
