    My attempt was at my house in Hendersonville, Tennessee. I used a standard Sportscraft ping pong paddle and ball. PLEASE RECOUNT FOR ME.. ITS HARD TO FOLLOW THE HITS. I believe i either got 160 or 161 hits. Ill let you be the judge of that! Thanks guys

About This Challenge

The most alternate hits using a table tennis paddle in one minute is 241, achieved by Ambika Niraula (Nepal), in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 11 January 2013.

Challenge Rules

  • A standard, commercially available table tennis paddle and ball are to be used for this attempt.
  • The ball is to be kept in the air by hitting it on alternate sides of the paddle for the duration of the attempt.
  • The one minute period begins when the ball is first struck with the paddle.
  • If the ball touches the same side of the paddle twice in a row, the edge or handle of the paddle, the floor, Challenger, or anything other than the correct next side of the paddle, the attempt ends immediately.
  • The paddle and ball must remain in view on the video for the duration of the attempt.
