Hi GWR, I pick up the egg at the 25 second mark. See preparations before, and more detail after I shell the egg. I forgot to say "stop" but you can see the split second I tossed the egg out of my hands - unshelled. Although some of the shelled egg demonstration goes out of the video frame, my other hand is at my side, proving nothing touched the egg before I brought it back into the video frame. Thank you. About This Challenge

The fastest time to shell one unpricked boiled egg is 2.66 seconds and was achieved by Silvio Sabba (Italy) in Strumica, Macedonia, on 21 August 2012.

Challenge Rules

A medium sized hen's egg must be used for this attempt. The egg should be hard boiled and cooled before the attempt begins. The egg may NOT be pricked or otherwise tampered with.
Only the hands may be used to shell the egg. All shelling must be removed from the egg - if any is left on, the attempt will be disqualified.
The egg must remain unbroken and retain the original shape as much as possible throughout.
The time starts when the challenger picks up the egg, and ends when he or she says "stop". At this point he/she must then immediately show a close-up, full rotating view of every surface of the egg, to demonstrate it has been completely shelled.

Hi Dan, just the other day I made this attempt via CRM on the website. Am I able to submit that video to Challengers? As always, I have statements, photos etc, and I followed the printed guidelines as given to me via the usual process (slightly different to the rules I see here - but I did rotate the entire egg for the video anyway). Or, do I need to send the evidence the usual way, and not switch it to Challengers? Thank you, regards, Alastair Galpin.

We cannot approve this record as you do not show the egg immediately before peeling it. As the rules state: ‘The egg may NOT be pricked or otherwise tampered with.' We encourage that you attempt this record again!
